Does anyone know what is 1Malaysia Clinics, what is the function of 1Malaysia Clinics and why Malaysia wants to implement this clinic lastly, who can gain benefits from this changes?
The 1Malaysia mobile clinic which provides healthcare to remote area residents was successfully launched by the Prime Minister on 09/12/2010. 1Malaysia clinics complemented the rural and suburban network of health clinics, which provide access to basic primary healthcare services in rural areas under the 10th Malaysia Plan that is to transform the healthcare system in the country.
The restructuring, reforming and enhancement of healthcare services is due government deals with increasing of ageing populations, rapid changes in technology as well as tremendously rising health costs in the country and also the global.
I strongly support the changes to start off this service that all of us especially for the community in rural area especially for those who cant afford expensive treatments from private hospitals. The changes emphasize towards the public and more community oriented that focus mainly on primary health care, increased personalized and community care, integration from both private and public healthcare services.
In the future, we can control our healthcare financing ourselves and empowerment of society to take care of their health and well-being.
