Steak and Dessert Moment

Yesterday went to lunch with Jeremy at Star Village Steak House, OUG. The atmosphere was quite ambient, cozy as well as comfortable. It was quite windy during the noon although the sky was rather hazy this few days. Star Village Steak House has 4 branches located in your vicinity, OUG which is the main branch and other branches; Kuchai Lama, Puchong Jaya, Aman Puri.

Star Village Steak House, OUG

The menu for one-main-course that suits all of us.

Grilled Butter Fish

Grilled Butter Fish with lemon increased the appetite, the fresh butter fish was meant to those on diet due to its low calorie counts.

Cheezy Chicken Chop

Thick gravy cheese topping that melted on the cheesy chicken looked tempting right? The chicken was grilled evenly and the cheese had melted into the chicken…it was so nice as i can felt it with every bites. The cheesy so succulent that stayed in the mouth before slipped to the throat.

The buns and sausages were too soft and nice to taste. The mushroom soup was pleasant-tasting to drink. An iced lemon tea was to chill us during the hot shiny day. The bun tasted even nicer if we dipped it into the mushroom soup.

Set for 2 portions but never enough for me XD

Other delicious and enjoyable dishes served must be tried on the next visit.

After that, we went for some dessert at Pick-Me-Up, Kuchai Lama. I just followed my friend since he always fanatic about Taiwanese dessert. This was the first time i heard about this dessert shop as Taiwanese dessert is not my favourite dessert at all.

Their slogan "Pick Me.Taste Me.Love Me." when i heard...er..it sounds so obscene, don't you think so? hahaha...

This was the Taiwanese Ice Tower, the top layer of the tower was grass jelly ice, then in the middle was palm sugar ice and the bottom layer was soya milk ice. Barley, pearls, taro balls, sweet potato balls and grass jelly were found around the tower.

Then, side condiments of palm sugar and creamer were added to enhance the sweetness of the whole dessert. It looked like a volcano to me with those lava flowing from vent to the base.

Ice Cream Burritos

Another recommended from the shop, the ice cream burritos with three choices to choose; banana, oreo and mango. It just nice with cold and warm combination that filledof nuts and mixture of frozen as well as melted vanilla in the pancake itself.

Is it time to take do quick review of your Facebook account and see how many “like” you have given?

What is “Like” function in Facebook means to you?

What are the pros and cons of “Like”?

Do you feel disappointed or sad when you posted photo that no "Like" is given to that photo?
